How to use it?
How to turn off the computer? Move the slider to the time in which you want your computer to be turned off, click the Start button and the program will start the countdown. The step of the slider is 15 minutes. The minimum and maximum intervals are 5 minutes and 24 hours respectively. How to cancel turning off the computer? There are two ways to do it. You can either close the program or click the Stop button. How to close the application? To close the application, use the Exit item in the main menu. When the program is minimized, you can close it using the popup menu opened with a right click on the icon in the system tray. How to minimize the application? When you click the Close button in the upper right corner, it will be minimized.

"I've long wanted a program to shut down my computer for all of the reasons people want such programs. For one I have just about replaced my regular radio with Internet Radio, which stations are much more diverse than can be found in just one city. Listening to radio all around the world is now possible and convenient. I have been using the AVG Free anti Virus program to shut down my computer as it has a shut down option after doing a scan. So, that works in a limited way. However, several months ago I did several searches for a stand alone shut down program. I Investigated many such programs. All of them have the very great inconvenience of including a shutdown feature as part of a much more complicated and multi featured program. In other words they are designed to do too much. One has to go to the trouble of dealing with and learning a complicated program to do a single, simple action. After a couple of hours of looking for a simple, single featured program I could not find one and gave up looking. That was maybe six months ago. Then a week or so ago I bought another anti virus program, which does not have a shut down feature as AVG Free does. I may want to use it. So, I did another search for a program to shut down my computer. This time I immediately found your program. Your program, ''Delayed Shutdown'' with its timer, is exactly what I was looking for. It is beautifully designed for the singular purpose of shutting down a computer. I tried it out but I really haven't used it. I didn't finally decide to register it. I register and buy every program I use that is not free, if they offer a telephone number to call to pay for the program. I have only had your program on my computer about three days. It is a marvel of design for what it was created for. Of all the programs I looked at it is certainly the best. I hope you are very successful with it."
